Photo Sessions

What to Expect:

I am a natural light, on-location photographer. I want to provide you with ample time for some fun, relaxed, posed and candid photographs. Plan for your session to last up to an hour. This will allow me to get as many shots as needed in order to ensure that I capture my subject at their best. The best time of the day for your portraits is late afternoon when the sun is not as harsh; however, other times may be available as well.

Portraits for Maternity / Children / Family / Couples:

There are many fun locations to choose from. The beach, Balboa Park, Presidio Park or a local East County park are a few examples of locations to choose from. If you have other ideas or a special place in mind, please let me know.

Portraits for Maternity / Newborns / Young Babies:

For young babies, newborn or maternity sessions, my house or yours - your choice. Window light works well for this or we can use my at-home backdrop and studio lights.

Clothing & Props:

Please bring as many changes in outfits and props as you want to your session. I want your photographs to reflect you. Does your child have a favorite stuffed animal? Favorite blanket? Favorite sport? Bringing these items will help me to capture the uniqueness of the subject being photographed. Clothing should be comfortable, simple and not distract from the subject being photographed. Solids are better than patterns or designs. Dress properly from head to toe. For beach or other outdoor pictures, bare feet work well also. In group portraits, pick a theme color for everyone to wear.

Sports Action Shots:

All of my children are active in various sports throughout the year. Please contact me to see if I’m available to capture your child at his sporting event. Please understand that if your child’s event is at the same time as one of my child’s events, I will not be able to accommodate you.

Before your photography session, I will provide you with a release form to sign. This allows me to use your photographs on my website portfolio.
